We grow mostly by families telling other families. These terms say exactly how we thank you, and the limits we keep so asking never turns into pressure.
1. The thank-you
- When a family you refer pays for and starts a 12-week program, you get one free session credit at the rate you pay ($70 for founding families, $80 for others), taken off your next payment.
- A free check alone does not earn a credit. The new family names you when they book ("How did you hear about us?") or tells us before their first session.
- Up to three credits per family per term (each 12-week program, or each three months of ongoing sessions). A 4th or later referral in the same term gets our handwritten thank-you only.
- If you are between programs, the credit waits for your next one for up to 12 months.
- Every referral, credit or not, gets a handwritten thank-you note within three business days.
2. Limits
- Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred or sold, and can’t be combined into a cash refund.
- Credits never depend on a review, rating or testimonial. We never ask for a review in exchange for anything, and never ask for a review in the same message or on the same day as a referral.
- We ask a family about referrals at most once every 14 days (the one-line note at the end of our Friday email excepted). If you tell us to stop, we stop, including the Friday line, until you say otherwise.
- Referring a family never gives you any information about that family or their child, and we never tell a referred family anything about yours beyond your first name.
- Staff referral bonuses are covered by our staff policies. These terms do not apply to them.
3. Schools and partners
- Schools and partner organizations (therapists, pediatric practices, homeschool groups, libraries) are never paid, credited or given gifts for referrals. We thank them in writing.
- We share information about a referred child with the referring partner only with the parent’s written permission.
4. Changes
We may change or end the program with 30 days’ notice on our website and by email to enrolled families. Credits already earned are honored.
